Senior Grocery Program
Helping Seniors Stay Healthy, Independent and Nourished
For many older adults living on fixed incomes, rising grocery, housing, and utility costs make it difficult to consistently put healthy meals on the table. El Reno Blessing Baskets' Senior Grocery Program helps bridge that gap by providing nutritious groceries each month to eligible seniors throughout Western Canadian County.
The program was created in 2023 after our volunteers recognized an increasing need among local seniors facing food insecurity. Today, the program continues to grow as more older adults turn to Blessing Baskets for support.
What's Included?
Eligible seniors receive groceries to help supplement their food budget and maintain access to nutritious meals. As our new client-choice market opens, participants will have the opportunity to select many of the foods that best fit their dietary needs, preferences, and cooking abilities, creating a more personalized experience.
For seniors who are unable to travel because of health, mobility, or transportation limitations, volunteer home delivery is available, ensuring no one is left without the food they need.

HOW TO APPLY
Applications are accepted throughout the year. Once approved, participants will receive information about upcoming grocery distribution or shopping dates.
