Families with Children
When school is out, many children lose access to the breakfasts and lunches they depend on during the school year. For parents already working hard to make ends meet, school breaks often mean higher grocery bills and difficult financial decisions.
Our Families with Children Grocery Program helps bridge that gap by providing healthy, kid-friendly groceries during spring break, summer vacation and fall break so children continue to have access to nutritious meals.
Serving Our Neighbors Across Western Canadian County
Seniors
Many seniors in our community live on fixed incomes that don't keep pace with the rising cost of food, housing, utilities and healthcare. Some face additional challenges, including limited mobility, health concerns or a lack of reliable transportation.
Our Senior Grocery Program helps seniors maintain their independence by providing nutritious groceries each month, with volunteer home delivery available for those unable to travel.
According to national data, nearly one in 10 Oklahoma adults age 60 and older experiences food insecurity, meaning they don't always have reliable access to enough nutritious food for an active, healthy life. These challenges can contribute to poorer health outcomes, increased isolation and financial hardship. Our program exists to help change that.
Families During the Holidays
The holidays can place additional financial strain on families already struggling to cover everyday expenses. Through our Christmas Baskets Program, eligible families receive holiday food, pantry staples, and gifts for their children, helping create joyful memories while easing the financial burden of the season.
